SAFETY PLAN FOR HALVERSON MECHANICAL, INC.


   It is the policy of Halverson Mechanical Inc. and its employees to operate in and 
maintain a safe and productive work environment.  Each employee shall be familiar with the 
OSHA regulations, as well as the safety regulations identified in Section 4 of the company 
employee handbook (revision April 2007).  
  
  It has been established that Halverson Mechanical Inc. field foremen will be responsible for 
the safety of the people that are working under him or her on each of the field projects.  
If the project is of the size that it is not practical, a field safety representative will 
be appointed and assigned to work on that respective project.  Responsibilities of the person 
in charge of safety on the project will include, but are not limited to, the following:  
   1. Identifying safety hazards on the project and in the areas where Halverson Mechanicals 
employees will be working.
   2. Using common sense in judgment as well as applying OSHA regulations to establish ways to 
prevent accidents or injuries that may result from the identified hazards.
   3. Conducting weekly toolbox meetings and training the respective employees assigned to that project.
   4. More training may be necessary for employees that are new to the project.
   5. Identify any hazardous materials that will be brought onto the project by Halverson 
Mechanical or any of its sub contractors. 
   6. Make sure the necessary MSDS sheets are in the book provided by Halverson Mechanical. 
   7. Management Reporting any accidents or injuries as described in Halverson Mechanical’s 
employee handbook (see Section 4, page 9)
   It is the responsibility of all employees to report any suspicion of drug or alcohol abuse, 
which is forbidden by Halverson Mechanical. (see Section 3 of employee handbook, pages 6 and 7).
